We complain during our perception of lack, and we complain during our perception of abundance. Which one do we want? Are we forced to choose? In Volume 4 of this podcast, I share my thoughts on observing our attitudes when we are in a difficult season of our lives and praying/begging for things to work out for us, just to turn around and complain about the blessing we asked for.
This calls for us to be intentional and specific. Get real with yourself about what you want to experience in this life. Nothing is too extravagant or outlandish. Think big bitch 😂.
I also touch on how not everyone will have capacity for our shit. Therapists exist for a reason. In no way do I mean to sound insensitive in that statement, but seriously, we all have things going on that keep us from always being mentally, emotionally, or physically available for others. That goes for anyone: spouse, children, friend, co-worker, lady a the laundrymat, etc.
Lastly, I share my thoughts on how solitude is the cure for co-dependency. No matter the person, place, or thing, you need time away from it to get back to yourself, your autonomy, and independence.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
